Brigham Young University

Brigham Young University was founded in 1875 as Brigham Young Academy in Provo, Utah. It was later reorganized and renamed Brigham Young University in 1903. The university is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has developed into a large private institution with a strong emphasis on undergraduate education and teaching.
